  1. 1) Some things I cherish in life are friendship, freedom, school, family, and life itself. 5 things the main character values are family, the right to be heard, being herself, workethics, and being respected. The plot helped me figure out the characters values by the way Conner lives her life. My values and Conner's value are similer by I like to be respected. I also believe everyone has the right to be heard. I love family and being my self. I agree with workethics.

    2) Some more clues that helped figure out my book is historical fiction is by Conner was reading a book about Susan B Anthony and it talked about how her farther was a radical red. I guess thats where the title came from. Also They talk about womesufferage and I've learned about that in social studies.

  2. 1) Some things I cherish are family, friends, school, and volleyball. 5 things my main character Jane Grey cherish are school/learning, reading, her religion, her "step family (Katherine and Sir Thomas)", and just being herself. The plot help me find this out because she was always reading and going out with her tutor to learn more advanced things unlike her sister. Also it always talks about how she loved Katherine and Sir Thomas so much.

    2) Some more clues on how my book is historical fiction is by its talking more about Kings and Queens, it always has differnt facts about time in the 1537s.For example they give dates on when differnt people were born.

  3. What I cherish is my family, clothes, shoes,my friends, my hair, and the most important is my face. Some things that josephine cherish is her mom and dad, her friendds, lucas, mrs. Abline, and herself. The plot helped me find out what joe values because it show's every thing in the book that she cherish. Josephine values are the same as mine because she cherish her friend's her mom and herself just like I do.
My book talk about black's and white's. How the black's can't go to school with the white's and that they can't do anything that the white's can do.

  4. 1. Some things I cherish in life are family I can love, friends I can trust, freedom I can have, life I can depend on, talents I can call my own. In my book THE KITE FLYER Hauyou cherishes family because of how he fell apart when his dad died as I do and would have. Hauyou also cherishes freedom like me but he cherishes it because freedom is what allowed him to leave to go to the circus I cherish it because of freedom of speech, religion, self expression, and other reasons like that. He cherishes his talent of flying and being able to trust himself and others to tell to him fly even though that is what killed his father. I respect Haoyou for cherishing that because it takes alot of nerve to trust other (like I trust friends) but it take even more nerve to trust yourself.I unlike Hauyou do not have the impressive talent of flying on a kite while I can fly a kite (big difference) my talents are small pointless talents like surfing, swimming, and fishing (I spend alot of time in and on the water)and popping my thumb out f its scket and bending it far back (but thats one of the pointless ones). The plot is about Hauyou and what he cherishes and what he is forced to give up when his father died his devestation pointed out his feelings for his family by spending the rest of the book trying to regain there families pride.

    2. Some new clue that THE KITE RIDER is indeed a historical fiction are when the book described the carnivals boat and "tent" it would have to be the farthest thing from our modern day colorful tents people had to stand instead of bleachers and instead of a truck they trraveled by old boat (in america they were using trains).

  5. 1. Some things I Cherish in Life are Friendship, My Horse Shawnee, Family, Life , And the Past, Which I'm Thankful For. (Dedicated to my Dad,Brett.)The five things that My Character Charlotte Cherishes are Horses,Friendship,Freedom,Work,And Her Boss, That She listen's to and Respects The fact that her job is dangling on a thin line i the balance, If she messes up. We both have simalar values because We both Respect horses, And Both share the fact that If you trip and fall in life with family Issues, And Work Issues, You got to get Back in the Saddle sometimes.

    2. Some more Clues that My book is Historical fiction is When Charlotte Was invited to a Christmas eve "Ball" And In our peroid of time, We don't Have "Ball's" We have Party's, And Insted Of Dancing and Listeing to Classical Music, We often Eat Cake and Hang-Out with our Good Friends and Family. Which Brings Back To the Queen and King Alexandra and her magificant Balls Which is not held today.

  6. 1.) The things that I cherish in life are freedom, friendship, dance, and the most important is family. The things that the main character Matilda in my book cherishes are family, hard work, helping out another person, being respected and respecting others. Matildas and I values are very similar because I cherish everyday I spend with my family, and I give respect and also want to be respected as well.

2.)More clues that I know my book is historical fiction is because there is no technology that could be used to heal the fever victims and there is very little money around town. The money that the family does have has to be hidden instead of being kept in a safe with a key and lock.

  7. 1. Things I cherish in life are my friends, family and soccer! To me life isn't about surviving the storm, its about dancing in the rain. So I like to look at life in a positive way and have fun so that is why I cherish things that other people think are un-important. Deliverance cherishies her friends, family, farm, community, and God. The plot helped me discuss what Deliverance values because sense its written in a journal you can tell how she stresses when her sisters sick, when her chickens aren't laying eggs, when her friends are mad at her, and how she always feels like a sinner for things that happen everyday in modern times.

    2. Clues that helped me find out my book was historical fiction were because of the way the author writes the book in a journal format and how the main character described the pain and tourture that happened to people in the Salem Which Trials.

  8. 1.) somethings i cherish in my life is family, friends, softball, free time, and freedom. Now 5 things the character is family, the park, freedom, friends because he doesnt have alot, and when he is away from his family. the plot helps me figuer out the caracters values by the way she lives her life the way she talks and where she lives and what she does. me and jamie have nothing in common she has a secret and the F.B.I. is chaceing her down and i dont have that happening to me and she also stands out in the crowed compared to everyone else.

2.) things in the plot that help me know that my book is historical fiction is that people are races and mean torward serton people. also they talk in pastens.

  9. 1) Things that I cherish in life are friends, family, music, love, and my very own life. Without all of those things, I would have no life at all. Five things that Huck, the main character of HUCKLEBERRY FINN cherishes is freedom, independence, the ability to care for himself, his friends, and his life. He is constantly on the run, because he ran away from his father, and he is trying to get freedom and independence from his abusive dad. He thinks of his friends often while he is on the run, because he often thinks, "What would Tom Sawyer (his best friend) do?". He can care for himself, and doesn't need a parent or guardian to care for him. He cherishes his own life, and is proud to be alive everyday.
    2) Examples that HUCKLEBERRY FINN is historical fiction, is the way of life. For example, when they go into town, they can buy goods for only a few cents. Also, their transportation is mainly by raft or steamboat because at that time, they didn't have the modern boats we have today.

  10. I am reading ASHES OF ROSES and the things i cheerish in life is my family (including pets), sports, academics, and also living life because I always want good grades, i love my family to deathe , without sports Iwould be board, and I like going on hikes and rollar coasters etc. Things Rose cheerish is her family, America, and caring for herself because, Rose wants to live with her family and always be with them, but she wants to live in America because ahe likes Ireland but she LOVES America. Also Rose tells her mom to let her stay in America and she now is rasing her little sister and taking care of herself.
ASHES of ROSES is historical fiction because the time setting is set in the past. The book is set back to when people were immigrating from Ireland to America to start a new life. For example Rose came from Ireland to A merica to start a new and improved life with her family.

  11. My book is A GREAT AND TERRIBLE BEAUTY by Libba Bray.
Some things I cherish would be my family and friends, what independance and trust I am given and God allowing me to wake up everyday..
Some things my character cherishes is her family, friends, being respected by her teahcers and freinds, and her independace.
The plot helped me understand this because Gemma shows she acutally cares about her mother when she cried because her mother was murdered, and how she wishes her father would get well soon. She cares for her friends because somewhere in the book she saves them from Circe. Gemma Doyle absoultly loves to be independant because she always stands up for herself and her friends, and because she dosent like when others speak for her.

Clues that my book is historical fiction is that, her teachers keep trying to perfect them into proper young ladys so they can be married off to a man.
