  3. Things that I cherish include my family, friends, the arts, and having fun. On the other hand Lizzie the main character of THE DAUGHTERS cherishes acceptance, friends, her I-Phone,having a good support system, and writing. The plot helped me understand lizzies most cherished items because all she wants is for her mother and friends to support her no matter how she thinks she looks which her friends do, but mist of the time her mother is to busy being a supermodel to be a mother and does not accept her daughters looks so when she finds out that Lizzie is doing "ugly modeling " her mother does not want to be see woth a daughter who has to be an ugly model to model but Lizzie now sees after doing the modeling that she is not just an ugly model but a real model. Showing that the things she cherishs in her mind are not real to everyone else.

Some more clues that this book is realistic ficton is that some people believe that they are not good/preety to be a model, but this book shows that it does not matter how you look just how you do the shoot and most believe that they can never do it even if their mother was a super model and in LA mist people children do not believe that they can not reach their parents goals/Bar that they set and then they become even more famous then their parents

  4. 1.I like being able to roam around the house and do whatever I like, like play video games. And play football with my friends, hang out with my friends and to have free time with my family.
Isabel, the main character of CHAINS cherish's the time of being with her sister, meeting up with her slave friend Curzon, eating good foods, going to he market, and the time of being able to pray to her mom.
The plot of this book helped me sort this list because os the narroration by her. She smoothly describes the possibility of how she may like it. And then reasons why she likes it, and then describes it. And the object sounds delightful, due to her description. And she doesn't have much freedom to herself. So she just has to like what she has to do for until she is sold again. Her likes and my likes are different because I have freedom, but she doesn't, so she can't do much but serve her master...with no attitude, which is the hard part.

2.One clue that I found for the book to be realistic fiction is when the loyalists and commissioners of the british had a conversation about throwing rebels in jail. That did not exactly happen in the past of the revoloutionary war. Because who had brought that topic up was Lady Seymore, the widow of the English king. And she is not real. And I'm sure that a smart conversation would be brought up like that, if the british were ever successful at any point of the war.

  8. 1. 5 things that I cherish are
    -my best friends
    -my family
    -my xbox
    -Baseball
    -going on planes
5 things that Cap cherishes are
    -peace
    -tai chi
    -learning names
    -stopping violence
    -Rain (his grandmother)
I chose all my things because they are the things i need to be happy and keep me smiling.
Cap has different values he enjoys more natural things like the art of tai chi and making peace and loving all people. He has verry nice things that he cherishes thats why hes such a loved person. I on the other hand enjoy modern technoligy and things that not everyone gets to do.
    2. Some more reasons why my book is realistic fiction is that everything is realistic in it, all the conflicts with Cap and the people he meets as eighth grade president are realistic and all the events that occur such as the riot in the school parking lot which turned out to be a memorial servise for Cap who was acually alive the whole time.

  9. 1.The thimgs that I cherish in life the most has to be my family and friends along with my hobbies.Such as basketball. But it comes to Paul he has his huge family along with his best friend Jay.You can tell because of all of the free time with his dad.And sense he was able to go home or stay the night with his team while he was in town he chose to be with mom and dad.Along with his money. He wont spend a dime more than he has to.If somthing is free he will take it like hotel soap, conditioner, throw in the shampoo.Hard work is another expectation that he needs for himself.Paul demands that dedication from his teamates. This confident man requires respect as well.Earlyer in the story he was not appreciated by his fellow players. But they soon found out what kind of worker that he is.I believe that he is the reason that this team has the great record that it does. After all he is the one that brought the star Jay to the team.

2.More clues to why my book is realistic fiction are that some of the in-game tactics like not rellying on one player. That minimizes the effect on a key injury. They are still using real names and player as well.

The main character Stanley is very close to his family. He is very honest, very helpful, he cares a lot about other peopl, he stands up for people, especially his friend Zero.

This book is realistic fiction becuase this could happen in real life

  11. 1. Some things I cherish in life are my family, my friends, cheerleading, and food. Some values my main character Cidney values her mom, her friends, her cats, her drawings, and her neighbor, The plot helped me understand what Cidney values because several times in the book Cidney says how she wants to do nothing but "Stay in with my mom, eat popcorn and watch a movie" but she never gets that quality time because her mom is constantly spending time with her boyfriend Raffie. She values her friends Natalie, Jamee, and Amberlynn because she feels like their the only people in her life that won't abandon her like her mom does. She also says that her drawings clear her mind from all negative thoughts and what she turns to when she's feeling sad, or upset.

2.Some clues my book is realistic fiction is that Cidney's situation is relatable, their could be someone else in their teens who are in the same situation as Cdney. Not having a close/ good relationship with their parent, and/or falling for a guy that was involved with one of their friends. Or just having that feeling of them feeling their alone.

  13. 1.) Things I cherish in life are my family, friends, my lie, cheerleading, & my life. Some things Kaniss values in lfe is hunting, her family, her friends, the other districts, other peoples health, & the life of others. The plot helpped me understand that because sh spent her life hunting & she put the life of her friends & family before hers. like when Gale was gettin beaten, she risked her ife to save his. But our values are half te am, hlf different. We both love and care for our family & friends but she loves huning & I love cheerleading & those are 2 whole different things.

2.) Some moreclues that CATCHING FIRE is realistic fiction is that thier are people that run away from thier district/home & peple who put othe people life ahead of thiers. people actually do this in the real world, but in this book, its fiction.

  14. 1. some things that i cherish in life are my friend, family, sports, happpyness, good times. To me life is about living in the present and moving forward, focusing on the postive thing and working hard. Not looking back on what i did wrong or think of all the negtive thing, i would be in a world of sadness. somthing the girl in my book cherish are far few thing she live with fear and un-able to exaple to any body why she lived going in to high school with a darte on her back and no friend by her side the one thing she dose in joy in a safe place, her so called clostet, friends(if she had some), loving arm to go into, shoping latly whish people would no what happen at the high school party that previse summer so they new were she was coming from why theses blifes show the plote of the story is by nowing that somthing caused the un friendly problem and she was was a girl with friend a group by her side. comparing are values to each other is vary differnt she foucuse on the past and i would move forward she want tell anyone what happen, i would be jumping at the bit to tell what happen at that party show what happen.

    2. clues that show this is realistic fiction is party cops be called being hated, be loved back staping other friends be in troubel and lastly skiping school this is all thing that could hapen in a noraml day life.

  15. 1.)Some things I cherish in life are friends, family, softball, the outdoors, and freedom. Terry (the main character of THE CAR) cherishes freedom, alone time, his tools, outdoors, and of course his car. The plot told me that Terry cherishes these things because the first thing Terry wanted to do after his parents left was drive across the country. In addition, Terry cherishes alone time because he didn't mind that his parents left him. Finally, Terry cherishes his tools and his car because he is always clening them and treats them like his babies. Terry and I both cherish our freedom. However, he perfers to be alone while I love spending time with my friends and family.

2.)I know that my book is realistic fiction because the main characters are dealing with real life issues. For example, Terry and Wayne have run into drunk drivers, car troubles, and lack of sleep. All of these problems can happen in real life.

  16. 1.) IM reading the book TEARS OF A TIGER.....
    My Likes:
    -Cheerleading
    -Shopping
    -Nice Clothes
    -School
    -Big Sis
    -Lil Bro
    Andy's Likes
    -Basketball
    -Goffing off
    -Keisha(Girlfreind)
    -Monty (Lil Bro)
-Robbie W. (bestfriend who died in a car accident with him)

I figured out Andy's values beacause he never got over Robbie's death and how "he killed him." I also picked him girlfriend Keisha who helped him threw the death and he and her both love eachother. I also picked Basketball beacuse basketball was his passion andhe was the new caption when Robbie had died, i had also picked his little bro Monty beacuse he and Andy alwayz were close to eachother in this book. I had pick goffing off beacuse he was a jokester so that he could hide the pain and not cry every minute so it took his mind off of it.

2.) Some more clues that this culd b realistic fiction.......
    -Talent shows
    -Brake ups
    -Real Life issues
    -teachers being VERY strict
-seems like its a real life storty on how it talks about their feelings and how they feel to the situation.

  17. The things I cherish are family, football, basketball, music, friends and life. Mick Johnson`s values are family, football, friends, life and sports. The plot helped me understand the character`s values were that during the whole story he was talking about different sports like basketball, baseball and football mostly.

Some more clues that let me know my book is realistic fiction is they use real dates and times and real websites.

  18. My Book is LOOKING FOR ALASKA By John Green Miles Cherishes...
    -Friends
-Alaska(The girl he was hoping to have as his girlfriend before she died)
-Being Alaska's last kiss before she died in a car accident.
    -Family
    -School
-Last words heard from people such as a famous person being killed and he would know them by there last words before they die.
    -Getting introuble to be known.
    I cherish..
    -Friends
    -Justin S.(Boyfriend)
    -soccer
    -Gymnastics
    -My cell phone
    -My clothes
    -My brothers(Pete,Pierce,and Presten)
    -Music
What i cherish compared to Miles is so much different because he values alot less then what i value he is also in a area where there isnt alot around and the school is kind of like a camp you have to use a pay phone, you dont live at your regular home. Some are far from family and friends in there hometown. Not many people have cars and it's sort of a small school with no air conditioning or actual comfy dorms.Plus they don't have jobs there.

So far my book is Realistic fiction because the girl Alaska goes drunk driving after getting a call from someone pudge doesnt know about.Alaska's so drunk that she either died sucidially or fell asleep while driving.Pudge and his friends try so hard to figure out what has happened.Theres are all possiblities of happening right now at this very moment!

  19. things that i cherish are
    -friends
    -my puppie
    -my family
    -softball
things that moose flanagan cherishes is
    -baseball
    -scout, and pete (his bestfriends)
    -hanging out with piper
    -and helping natalie.

some new reasons i know my book is realistic fiction are
1.People fall in love- a convict '105' falls for Natalie
2.Everybody makes mistakes- Moose screamed at his mother which made Natalie get stuck in her help mode
3.and there is always hope- Even though Natalie got rejected from Ester P. Marinoff 2x there is always a sliver they will still take her.
