Of all of the characters in the book HUNGER GAMES, I would choose to sit next to Cinna. Cinna's clever design and bedazzeling dress caused me to be in awe. I would ask him where his inspiration came from for the "Girl on Fire" dress and why he had "chosen" to be the designer for District 12, when most people steer clear of that district because of its coal mining background. I would tell Cinna that I thought he was a genius and was one of the main reasons Katniss got so many votes that night at the Opening Ceremony Interviews. I would also love to ask him to help me become a fashion designer , as that would be one of my dream jobs!

If i had the choice of sitting next to someone from my book(STAR TREK) on a train would be captain Janeway. i would sit next to her because shes high up in the starfleets ranking system and that makes her very important. I would also choose her because before she became a captain she was a full time scientist and i like scientists and i like their job of discovering new things. I would ask her how she became so smart and wise. Also i would ask her what was the best part of being a scientist, also what is best part of being a captain of the ship

I would love to sit next to peeta because I love how he acts in the book and how well he interacts with girls. First i would ask Peeta is how did he become so good at getting girls. Then I would ask what helped him win the hunger games so that if we ever have to live in a time where we have the hunger games I would no just what to do. Then I would ask him to teach me how to do camoflouge so I could be the master of discise. Basically I would ask him all of the skills that he used to give him an advandtige in the hunger games.
ReplyDeleteI am reading a book called THE LIGHTNING THIEF by Rick Riordan. If I were able to sit next to any one of the characters, I would choose to sit next to Percy. Even though Percy has Dyslexia, he never backs down from anything. For instance, when his Latin exams came around the corner he studied the best he could even though none of the words made sense to him. He considers himself equal to everybody else. I would ask Percy how it feels to have Dyslexia and how he was able to defeat the minotaur single-handedly even though it was twice his size and 10 times stronger than him. I would tell Percy to not give in even though the only person in the world who cared for him died in the hands of the minotaur[his mom]. I would also ask Percy what exactly the "mist" is because apparently it is what allows him to see all these mutated creatures.
ReplyDeleteTo think if I was to sit next to one of the characters in my book THE HICTHHIKERS GUIDE TO THE GALAXY. I would have to pick the man who has been living as a human, but is actually an alien. the man I am talkin about is Ford Perfect. I would have to ask him, "Why do do you drink so much?" Also "If you have not seen an UFO in the fifteen years you have been stranded on Earth, then why do you think there is going to be one now?" and "Do you think your secret will slip about being an alien and not human?" So altogether i believe that Ford is the most interesting and mysterious "thing."
ReplyDeleteI would choose to talk to Linden beacuse he is on the foot ball team. Also beacuse he is a WR and thats one of my favorite spots. Also he has an old truck that he works on alot and i love to work on cars. I would ask him why is he so scared of his coach? My word of advice would be dont fear an adult beacuse they cant hurt you unless you realated. Also i would ask him if i could help him with his truck.
ReplyDeleteOf all the charicters in my book, I would prefer to sit next to Alexi Romanov, the future Tsar of Russia. I would like to know what having Hemophillia would feel like. Besides his severe illness, he has visted the front lines(of World War I in 1914)and offered to fight for his country and Mother Russia.He is an inspiration to anone in doubt of succeeding should look at the will of this child. It would be an honor, no, a privalige to sit and discuss next to him.
ReplyDeleteIf I could choose one character to sit on a train next to in CATCHING FIRE , I would probably choose Gale. I would ask Gale "How did you become such a good hunter?" Also, I would ask him "Do you like Katness?" and I would maybe ask him "why did you join the coal mining instead of hunting?". I would want to sit next to Gale because the book doesn't talk about him alot but he is an interesting character.
ReplyDeleteOf all of the 3 mentioned people in my book, THE JUNGLE, I would want to sit next to CIA operative, Juan Cabrillo. I would want to do this because he would be the most interesting person to talk to. Also I would do this because I want to go into this type of job when I graduate from MIT.
ReplyDeleteFrom my book CATCHING FIRE, I'd probably end up sitting next to Gale. He would keep up a cnversation with me about hunting, his life, & maybe his job in the mines. I also like how henly has1 day off & he chooses to spend it with Katniss. Then if I could ask his anything, I'd ask him " If you could, would you try & win Katniss' heart? " Because I think that he likes her and according to District 12, thier cousins. So they'll possibly come closer. Then I would tell him how much I want to learn to hunt as good as him so I could trade in food or keep the meat for my own family. He inspires me with how kind & talented he is with hunting & being the main care taker of his house hold.
ReplyDeleteI would pick next to Luke because he is nice, kind, and he is a good guy also. If it was a long trip he could teach me some of his moves and Luke is very good teacher. Finnaly I love his Green Light saber its my favorite.

The character I would sit with in CONTEST would be Stephen Swain the main character. I Would sit with him because it is cool that he is a doctor and also a fighter in the contest.I would ask him questions like did he feel bad about killing the young gang member that had tried to injure the cop that he was treating. I would also like to know if it was hard for him to become a doctor. Another question that popped in my mind was did you feel bad about your daughter having to write those 100 sentences for punching her classmate in the face. I would ask Him if he was scared to have a bracelet on his arm that would explode if he left the library and weather he thought he would be the last person standing at the end of the contest.

ReplyDelete1. If I could sit next to a character in CATCHING FIRE, I would like to sit next to Haymitch. I would like to sit next to him because he won the Hunger Games out of all those other tributes, so that must mean that he is wise and has a lot of experience fighting, and outsmarting people. I would like to ask Haymitch why he chooses to stay home and waste his money getting drunk, and how he actually won the Hunger Games. The last thing I would tell Haymitch is that he did a great job keeping both Katniss and Peeta alive during the Games.

I don't think that the name Iban-Qarin is a mutant-ish name. Although, I can see why people eating the dead would be science fiction, because it is preposterous and an unusual thing for a person to do.
If i could sit next to anyone on a trian in the book catching fire i would sit next to Peeta becouse everyone usualy gets katnis's side of the hunger games. so i would have peeta tell me about his exsperience.Choosing peeta over anyone else would help me find out aboutt what really happend
ReplyDeleteI would sit next to Jobs because we have many thoughts that are the same.For example, he and myself hate walking through wet marshes for a long time.I would want to know this character and talk to him because he seems like the guy that's going to be very important even though he isn't the main character.I think he might even be as or more important than the main character in this book.

I don't know who stole the car but I would like to sit with them on a train so I could ask them how they got away with stealing a BMW. I would also like to know how they get away with doing so many illlegal things. I would tell them they are crazy for doing actions they do because they could get caught easilly. If they have a next door nieghbor they can easily get caught.
